Get Psych'd is a video aiming at informing the ASU community of ASU led mission Psyche. Psyche is not only special in the fact that it is in conjunction with NASA and SpaceX but the fact that it intends to include students from a variety of majors. Programs like Capstone and Psyche Inspired welcome students to become a part of the mission by creating.
The interview focuses on Janani Lakshmanan a Psyche Inspired intern telling her story on her involvement with the program and what it brings to students.
The Process
Objective: To produce a video promoting the Psyche program's internship and capstone programs to ASU students.
It's important to note the video was storyboarded before quarantine in the state of AZ. The original idea was to interview 3-4 students in the program around the ASU Tempe Campus. Once quarantine was in place, all ASU campuses were closed except for certain departments & their skeleton crews. While trying to stay as close to the original storyboard, the only solution at the time was tele-con methods. However, the animations are near identical to the original idea.
